Fen - Dustwalker (2012)

This is a very epic atmospheric black metal album that's heavily indebted to the majesty of the post-rock genre. That said, it's apparent that this album is quite different from those of Krallice or WitTR. There are hardly any blast-beat sections to speak of, and it has a closer resemblance to Opeth and especially Agalloch in terms of melodies and clean vocals. I would definitely tack this album up as one of the best black metal releases of the year.
