Ornette Coleman - The Shape of Jazz to Come (1959)
Often regarded as one of the seminal free jazz records, The Shape of Jazz to Come is an excellent introduction to the wild side of early jazz recordings and is a quite spontaneous and interesting album to listen to. It might not have the emotionality of something like Coltrane's Love Supreme, but it's a visionary piece of art and a must-have for jazz fans.
9/10
