Threshold - March of Progress (2012)

This is one of my absolute favorite releases of the year and one of my favorite prog metal albums ever. The melodies, riffs, drumming and vocals are all outstanding and the band seems to have truly been reborn from the ashes after the tragic death of former singer Andrew "Mac" McDermott. Returning singer Damian Wilson is really the highlight of the album with his expressive, theatrical singing and catchy lines. I can't recommend this album enough to prog metal fans or to people who have tried to get into prog metal but want something more accessible within the genre.
