Evoken - Atra Mors (2012)

This is a pretty terrifying funeral doom album that shows just how dark metal can get. Everything is super slow, the vocals are downright animalistic, and the lyrics are quite morbid. I wouldn't quite put this on the same level as Ahab, seeing as how they're my favorite in the genre, but it's definitely a very good release and a horrible pleasure to listen to.
