Soen - Cognitive (2012)

Rejoice, Tool fans! Soen, the new band featuring Martin Lopez (formerly of Opeth) brings you Toolish riffs and Maynardesque vocals galore. And Lopez's drumming is still out of this world. A very worthy, if overlooked metal release for this year.
