Mono - For My Parents (2012)

Here is another contender for post-rock album of the year. Mono have a very unique classical approach to post-rock that has put them on the map as one of the most renowned artists in the genre. Like all their other albums, this one is beautiful and incredibly emotional. Check out their video for Legend and you will see how cinematic and epic their music is.
