Neurosis - Honor Found in Decay (2012)

After trying for quite a while to get into this band, Neurosis seemed to click with their latest album. It's a very dark, brooding album with a very gradual development of their metal soundscape. It's actually quite a beautiful album with some passionate vocals and lyrics from Scott Kelly. I'll definitely be diving back into their back catalog and hopefully be coming back with some more good reviews. For now, Honor Found in Decay is another great album of the year and something to please the more cerebral metal fan.
