Melvins - A Senile Animal (2006)

As my introduction to this highly influential band, A Senile Animal has proven to be a well-written and very fun listen. There's plenty of heavy, catchy riffs and sludge to go around. The drumming though is the highlight of the album. Having two drummers is a genius, if not highly unusual, move by the band that really livens up the sound. I'm excited to hear more of this band.
