School of Seven Bells - Ghostory (2012)

Borrowing liberally from bands such as Cocteau Twins, My Bloody Valentine, and even Joy Division, School of Seven Bells has created an electronic dream pop masterpiece. It's very much an updated version of shoegaze with beautiful textures, even more beautiful vocals, and post-punkish beats. This is just a spectacular underground release, and by far one of the best electronic releases of the year.
