If These Trees Could Talk - Above the Earth, Below the Sky (2009)

Out of all the post-rock bands I've heard, this one writes some of the best melodies and has some of the most complex compositions. It's a technical tour-de-force, but it also has beautiful moments and emotional resonance. Their second album, Red Forest, is also very good but doesn't quite match up to this one.
