Om - Variations on a Theme (2005)
It's pretty unusual to hear a metal band without the essential ingredient of the guitar (Om only uses a bass guitar), but these dudes manage to make some great music anyways. This is a very hypnotic and psychedelic album with copious amounts of Eastern influences both musically and lyrically. It might take a few listens to get it since it is pretty repetitive at times, but it's definitely worth it.
8.5/10
