Amon Amarth - Surtur Rising (2011)

Amon Amarth are basically the AC/DC of death metal. They write very catchy and hardhitting tunes. This album is full of such tunes such as War of the Gods and Destroyer of the Universe. It's probably their most diverse album to date as they bring in classical elements and, gasp, clean vocals! But like L'Enfant Sauvage, the band couldn't really manage to match their previous one. However this is still a really enjoyable record that can get non-death metal fans into the genre.
