Amon Amarth - Twilight of the Thunder God

Ladies and gents, here we have one of the best death metal albums of all time. It's only four years old, but to me it's a classic. This album, along with Blackwater Park and Ghost Reveries, is the one that got me loving death metal and it's great to come back to it now and then. From the absolutely epic title track to the beautiful Embrace of the Endless Ocean, this album will have you headbanging and craving more. I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that this is the Master of Puppets of extreme metal.
