King Crimson - Islands (1971)

A highly underrated accomplishment, Islands finds the legendary prog rock band at their most beautiful and classically influenced. The title track is the highlight of the album and clearly shows Robert Fripp's highly ambitious and complex approach to songwriting. I like some of their other albums even better than this one, but I don't think this can be passed over if for no other reason than its sheer uniqueness in the KC catalog.
