High on Fire - De Vermis Mysteriis (2012)
Take the punkish metal of Motorhead, make it ten times heavier and then add a bit of Black Sabbath and you get High on Fire. This is by far their best album and features some of their most creative and diverse work to date. The sound ranges from the ferocity of Bloody Knuckles to the bluesy Samsara. Frankly, I wasn't even a huge fan of theirs before this one came out but I sure am now. Definitely one of the best stoner albums in recent years.9/10
